Alternative filter tubes

MicraFilter manufacture a vast range of alternatives filter tubes to fit housings manufactured by Original Equipment Manufactures such as Whatman Ltd, Headline Filters Ltd and Finite Filter. These products are available in all grades and are guaranteed to perform equal to or better, than the original.

All Micrafilter alternative filter tubes are permanently marked by ink jet printing with model number and grade for total customer satisfaction. MicraFilter alternative tubes can be used with confidence as there is never any doubt about the part in use.

Plastic filter housings

In certain analytical and environmental applications the use of metal filter housings is not acceptable. MicraFilter recognize this and can provide housings machined from plastics. These plastics include nylon, polypropylene and PTFE but other materials are available to special order. The housing design follows the MicraSteel concept in shape and size with operating pressure up to 10 barg (150 psig).
MicraFilter can also supply plastic filter housings for liquid filtration. In particular for pure water filtration, MicraTubes have proved successful for pre-filtration to extend the life of expensive membranes.

OEM products

MicraFilter design and manufacture specialist filters for OEM applications. MicraFilter can handle many customer specific requirements. For example, adding a unique part number by ink jetting, moulding a special size MicraTube or machining a complex multi port high pressure housing capable of withstanding 50 bar differential pressure.
